Blasting

At Tutaryds Mekaniska Verkstad, we offer blasting services to meet various industrial requirements and prepare surfaces for coating. Our facility is equipped to handle both small and large volumes, accommodating items up to 7 x 3 meters and 3000 kg, making us adaptable for projects of different sizes and scopes. Through our diverse methods, we ensure that all components achieve a clean, even surface, ready for further processing or finishing.

For heavier and more demanding surface cleaning, we use steel shot blasting, an effective method for removing rust, slag, and other contaminants from large components. We also offer free jet blasting with steel grit, which is especially useful for creating a rough surface that enhances adhesion for painting or other finishes. By combining these techniques, we can customize surface cleaning to suit different materials and requirements, delivering perfect results for our clients’ applications.

For projects that require gentler surface treatment, we use glass blasting. This method provides a softer finish and is ideal for detailed components or applications where an exceptionally smooth and even surface is desired. Glass blasting is also a great choice for creating a decorative finish or enhancing the aesthetics of various materials.
